i’m gonna take a moment to appreciate the bishop because wow this little old man what a cutie

let us not forget that time he tricked the government into giving him a higher salary so that he can give more money to the poor

or about how he was always happy and sweet and had “the laugh of a schoolboy”

or the fact that one time he was too short to reach a book in his bookcase and joked to mme. magloire that “[his] greatness does not reach as far as that shelf”

or how he loved animals and how he even picked up a big hairy spider in his garden without a second thought to sympathize with it because poor baby, “it’s not its fault”
